Anufriev Efim Evseevich (1897-1970) – a party worker, an active participant in the establishment of Soviet power, a participant in the civil war. Born in the village of Gam. In June 1918 he was admitted to the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks at the Stella Polare sawmill. In 1920-1928 he was the secretary of the Pechora and Izhma Pechora district committee of the party, in 1928-1930 he was the chairman of the North Committee under the Komi regional executive committee, in 1934-1957 he worked in leading economic posts for the supply of the Urals factories. Arteev Grigory Mitrofanovich (30.11.1907-26.02.1972) – a party and public figure. Born in the village of Varysh. Member of the CPSU since 1931. In 1930 he graduated from the Komi Regional Soviet Communist Party School, in 1945 – from the Higher School of Party Organizers under the Central Committee of the CPSU. From 1930 he worked as a propagandist, an instructor, the head of the department of the Ust-Kulom and Izhma district committees of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, the 1st secretary of the Sysola and Storozhevsk district party committees. From 1939 he worked in the apparatus of the regional committee of the CPSU. Since 1948 he worked as the chairman of the regional trade union council, since 1958 – in leadership positions in the Komi Economic Council. Since 1961 he was a personal pensioner of federal significance. The deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 2nd and 3rd convocations, the deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Komi ASSR (since 1947), a member of the regional committee of the CPSU (1940-1960), a member of the bureau of the regional party committee (1948-1958). He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree (1946) and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1957). The source.

Bratenkov Nikolai Terentyevich (27.12.1949) – a public and political figure. Born in Izhma. From 1971 he worked as a physics teacher. He worked as the head teacher for extracurricular activities, in 1977-1983 he worked as the director of the Kipievo secondary school. He was an instructor and the head of a department of the Izhma District Committee of the CPSU, the chairman of the District Committee for Nature Protection. He was elected a deputy of the District Council, of the Supreme Council of the Republic (1990-1995), of the State Council of the Komi Republic (1995-1999, 2020-2025). He held the posts of the head of the administration of Izhemsky district (1993-1999), the head of the Izhma road repair and construction department (1999-2003), the head of the administration of Izhemsky district (2003-2007). Has the title of “Honored Worker of the Komi Republic”. An active social activist, the coordinator of the Save the Pechora Committee in Izhemsky district, a member of the Presidium of the interregional public movement Izvatas. The source.

Vityazev Vasily Arkhipovich (1910-1984) – a statesman. Born in the village of Mokhcha. In 1928 he was accepted at the Syktyvkar Pedagogical College. In 1932 he received a degree in sociology. He headed the Pomozdino and Gam schools of collective farm youth, was in charge of the boards of education in Ust-Kulom and Troitsko-Pechorsk. In 1939 he was admitted to the ranks of the CPSU, promoted to party work. A participant of the Great Patriotic War. After demobilization, he worked in the regional party committee. He was accepted at the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU in Moscow. In 1952 he headed the department of administrative, trade and financial bodies of the regional party committee in Syktyvkar. He headed the Ministry of Social Security of the Komi ASSR. The source. 

Rochev Ivan Alekseevich (22.10.1906-24.08.1980) – the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Komi ASSR (1945-1949). Born in the village of Bakur. He was the editor of the newspaper Vestnik Pechory and the 1st secretary of two regional committees of the CPSU in the Komi ASSR, and until October 1941 he was the 1st secretary of the Pechora district committee of the CPSU. In 1943-1944 he serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Komi Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party on animal husbandry. From 1945 to June 1949 he was the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Komi ASSR, in 1949-1950 – the 2nd Secretary of the Komi Regional Committee of the CPSU. In 1950-1953 he studied in the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU. In 1953-1955 he served as the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Komi ASSR, from April 1955 to March 1959 as the Minister of Social Security of the Komi ASSR. The Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR (1947-1951) and of the Supreme Soviet of the Komi ASSR (1938-1959). He was awarded the Order of Lenin (1946) and the Order of the Badge of Honor (1942).
