Natural attractions:
Lake Seydozero. One of the most beautiful places on the Kola Peninsula. In parascience, it is considered one of the possible centers of the mysterious civilization of Hyperborea. An interesting feature of this landmark is the humanoid 74-meter image located on one of the rocks surrounding the lake, called Kuiva.
Mount Flora. It is located in the Lovozero tundra, 8 kilometers north of Lake Seydozero.
Lake Lovozero (Luyavr). The third largest lake on the Kola Peninsula, occupying 208.5 km2.
Ponoiskiy zoological reserve. Occupies 117 thousand hectares, is located in the middle course of the Ponoi River.
Ponoisky fishery reserve. The reserve includes the Ponoy, Rusinga, Losinga, Sukhaya, Lebyazhya, Alden’ga, Yugonka, Patmanga, Acheryok, Kolmak, Purnach rivers.
Simbozersky nature reserve. Occupies 39 568 hectares, one of the youngest reserves in Russia (formed in 2003). It includes the Pecha, Goltsovka and Simba rivers, the Pechozero, Simbozero and Imandra lakes. The main objects of protection are the wintering places of elk and the habitat of the European pearl mussel.
Wildlife sanctuary Seydyavvr. Located 17 kilometers from Lovozero. Occupies 17 972 hectares. On the territory of the reserve, not only the unique nature is protected, but also the original Sami culture. Here one can practice reindeer herding, visit religious and historical sites, hold ceremonies and rituals, go fishing, pick mushrooms and berries.
Bird colonies of the Dvorovaya Bay. They are located 129 kilometers from the village of Krasnoshchelye and occupy 610 hectares. Here one of the largest kittiwake settlements and the easternmost colony of small-billed guillemots in the southern part of the Barents Sea were recorded.

Lovozero regional national cultural center. There are 4 departments in the center: the department of crafts, the department of cultural work, the department of ethnocultural activities of the Sami and Izhma Komi peoples, and the administrative department. The center hosts events such as the Summer Sami Games, the North Festival and the Reindeer Herder’s Day.
