Natural attractions:
Vaygach Island. Located in the arctic tundra area, between the mainland and the islands of Novaya Zemlya. Vaygach has been considered a sacred place for the Nenets tribes since ancient times. There are ancient sanctuaries on the island.
The Bolshiye vorota canyon. The Bolshiye vorota canyon is a unique natural site that covers 212 hectares in the middle reaches of the Belaya river. It is declared a natural monument of regional significance. The canyon is formed by a steep basalt coast, the height of the cliff reaches 90 meters.
Nenetsky reserve. One of the youngest nature reserves in Russia. It covers an area of 313 400 hectares.
Pym-Va-Shor thermal spring. It has the status of a specially protected natural area. 8 thermal springs have been discovered here. This is the only outlet for hot groundwater beyond the Arctic Circle in Europe.
The stone city. It is located in the valley of the Belaya river and covers a total area of 4900 hectares. The stone city is the white remains of limestone rocks preserved in various forms, reminiscent of people, animals, buildings.

Historical and cultural attractions:
Pustozersk. Now extinct, Pustozersk was the first Russian city beyond the Arctic Circle and one of the main outposts of Russia in the development of the North and Siberia. Pustozersk was the place of exile for the prominent figure of the Old Believers, Archpriest Avvakum. The last residents left the city in 1962. Pustozerskoe settlement is located 20 km from Naryan-Mar.
